Pizza
Hand-tossed crust layered with premium ingredients and baked in our coal-fired ovens.
Coal was burned to bake the first pizzas made in the United States. Today coal-fired pizza ovens, found mostly in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and New Haven, define “American” pizza and make some of the best pizza in the world. As the first coal-burning pizza restaurant in Minnesota, we’re honoring the craft of these pioneers by using Anthracite coal* and the freshest ingredients to bring you the great American pizza experience.
With two Twin Cities locations, there’s a table for everyone at Black Sheep Pizza.

Pizza TRADITION
* FUN FACT : With anthracite coal, the domes of our ovens reach consistent temperatures of at least 1200 degrees while maintaining a steady deck temp. What that means is anthracite coal, unlike wood, burns hot and steady so we can make pizzas hot, fast and true to our standards of excellence. Wanna know more?
